This term, Year 3 pupils have embarked on a thrilling journey through history and engineering, beginning with a deep dive into the seafaring world of the Vikings and their legendary longships. Our young innovators then shifted gears into the future, exploring the logic behind Robots and the algorithms that power them. The classroom was transformed into a bustling workshop as we tackled hands-on Design and Technology projects, where children mastered the mechanics of pneumatic systems using air pressure to create movement, alongside the study of levers and linkages to understand how pivots and connected beams can translate force into action. It has been a fantastic term of discovery.
