Admissions

Nursery

We have three intakes per academic year (depending on places available). We take children a term after they are 3 years old.

In order for you to apply for a place you will need to come in to the school to collect an application form. A birth certificate and proof of address is needed to complete the application.

When it is time for your child to start in the Nursery, we will contact you by letter to see if you still require a place and a home visit will be arranged. On the home visit a member of staff from the Nursery will complete the new admission paperwork and any medical forms that may be required.

We ask that you inform us if you move house or change your telephone number as this could result in your child not receiving a place.

Reception to Year 6

Parents are most welcome to have a tour of the school before your child starts here. To apply for a place in Lansdowne Primary Academy, you will need to contact School Admissions at Thurrock Council. Click here to enter the Thurrock Council website. They will require a birth cerficiate and a proof of address.

You will be invited in to the school to have a look round with your child. A start date will then be agreed.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us on 01375 487200 or by email admin.lansdowne@theglc.org.uk

GLC Primary Open Days

Year 6 to Secondary

The secondary 2018 admissions process is open from 1 September 2017 to 31 October 2017 inclusive. We recommend that parents apply online to Thurrock Council. Click here to enter the Thurrock Council website. A late application means there will be far less chance of your child being offered a place at the school you want.
